The spaces we inhabit define us, just as we define them. My father was an archtect and contributed several fine buildings to Montreal as well as around the country. He instilled an appreciation of space in me from early on, and I think that has influenced my photography in all of its manifestations. Design of the frame has always been as important to me as the events within that frame.
